There’s nothing better than a calm day on the water, the gentle splash of the line, and a tackle box full of gear. But you know what separates a good fishing trip from a great one?

Snacks.

Whether you're heading out at sunrise or planning a full-day boat session, bringing the right snacks can seriously upgrade your fishing game. Sure, jerky and sandwiches are classics . but if you want to go next-level, don’t skip dessert.

Cookies on a Fishing Trip? Absolutely.

Trust us: there’s something deeply satisfying about biting into a soft, chewy cookie while you’re waiting for the next big catch. Especially when it’s something indulgent : like a chocolate chip cookie with Nutella filling.

If you haven’t tried Nutella stuffed cookies, you’re missing out. These things are packed with gooey hazelnut filling, wrapped in a buttery, choc-chip dough. Great with coffee, better with cold beers, and perfect for sharing (or not sharing, we won’t judge).

We recently stumbled across a Melbourne-based bakery called Crumbaroo, and their chocolate chip and Nutella cookies are exactly the kind of treat we didn’t know we needed on a fishing trip. Big, bold, and full of flavour.

Stuffed Cookies = No Mess, All Flavour

Unlike crumbly store-bought biscuits, these chocolate chip Nutella stuffed cookies are hefty and satisfying : think one cookie and you're good. No icing, no stickiness, just rich, baked goodness with a gooey centre.

They also offer a Biscoff stuffed cookie, if caramel and spice are more your thing. Either way, they’re baked fresh and travel well, which makes them a solid addition to your tackle bag snack stash.

Final Cast 🎣

You pack your rods, lures, and maybe a few beers. Why not pack a little sweetness too?

Next time you’re prepping for the water, don’t forget to throw in a couple of Nutella filled cookies. You can check them out here , trust us, you won’t regret it.

Pro tip: Hide one at the bottom of the cooler. Future You will be very, very happy.
